We can't talk about revolution, until we first; in our minds, are free. Ko'u Mana'o is an original song written by Kimo Watanabe of the group Rebel Zion in support of Aloha Aina everywhere. With the Ku Kia'i Mauna movement active on Mauna a Wakea and Haleakala, and the activation of Kanaka Maoli, and Native Hawaiian Supporters all over the globe, it felt particularly meaningful and timely.
We say IMUA to the youth today, we say IMUA to those locked away, we say IMUA, IMUA Hawai'i e!
We lend our mana'o, and our kokua to all those working across the globe to protect, preserve, and perpetuate aloha, Hawaiian culture, and Indigenous people's rights everywhere.
